TutorFox’s tips on how to get a 5 on the AP Physics B and C exams

ap physics

AP Physics B is introductory college level physics without an emphasis on calculus or rigorous derivations. AP Physics C is divided into two separate exams, AP Physics C Mechanics, and AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism.

For all AP Physics exams, TutorFox recommends the TI-89 Titanium calculator.

In order to best prepare for any AP, you should take as many practice tests as possible. The CollegeBoard, the company who makes the AP has many practice questions available from previous AP Physics B and AP Physics C exams.

In addition to doing practice free response problems in physics, you should get the Princeton Review guide to cracking the AP Physics B and C exams. This book is a most excellent resource and study guide to getting a 5 on both the AP Physics B and AP Physics C exams. The Princeton Review guide has 2 full length practice tests, one of each AP Physics B, and AP Physics C. Each question is fully explained in the solutions.

If you want a 5 on any AP Physics exam, you should purchase this book regardless of whether you want tutoring. If you need assistance and additional guidance then you should get physics tutoring, which the TutorFox tutors are happy to oblige.
